The minutes from the November 4, 2010 meeting were approved and accepted.

F.H.C.O.A. REPORT ~ Barbara Anger
Barbara reported that the account balances are as follows:
                Commerce Bank                   $17,314.76        
                Leominster Credit Union         $4,611.39
                Leominster Credit Union C.D.    $23,121.83      
The figures for the Fair are not yet in.  There are still donations coming in and leftover items are being sold from the Cart.

HELP AT HOME REPORT ~ Jim Robinson
Jim was not able to issue an updated Financial Report.  Receipts totaled just over $4,085.00 + $2,180.00.  There was a disbursement in the amount of $700.00 for printing of the Help at Home envelopes.  Jim will provide an updated report by the next meeting.  The last Help at Home meeting took place six (6) weeks ago.  People have been coming and going.  Cheryl reported that there are 15 inquiries for help right now.  
As Light Department Manager, Jim will be going before the Board of Selectmen next Monday to suggest a 25% discount for early payment of the December electric bills.  The cost of power has gone down over the last five to six months.

        The Senior Center’s Annual Christmas Party will be held on Friday, December 10 at Noon.  Toupin’s Catering will offer a menu of:  Tossed Garden Salad; Freshly Baked Raisin Bread; Seasoned Rice; Fresh Steamed Green Beans; Chicken Pot Pie topped with Puff Pastry, and a Homemade Cream Puff for dessert.  Cost for this delicious lunch is $16.00.  Elliott Lockwood will be here to share Christmas Music.  We’re even expecting a visit from Old Saint Nick, himself.  Sign-up is presently at 62 + staff.
        The Annual Mountview Breakfast will be held on Thursday, December 9 at 9:00 a.m.  Sponsored by the student government, this breakfast is for Holden residents only.  Sign-up is presently at 114.
        The Wachusett Area Rotary Breakfast will be held on Saturday, December 18 at The Manor Restaurant in West Boylston.  The Wachusett Singers will once again provide entertainment.  Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with breakfast being served at 9:00 a.m.  Sign-up is presently at 344.
        At our last meeting, Louise said that the Worcester Community Action Council would have a representative here every other week beginning in January through the first part of March to take applications for fuel assistance.  Since then, we have received a change in those dates.  Due to budget cuts, they will come out only once, and that date will be on Wednesday, January 12 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Appointments are being accepted by calling the Worcester Community Action Council.
        On behalf of the Staff, Louise wished the board members a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

OLD BUSINESS
        The Use of Building Policy is still on target for the spring.

NEW BUSINESS

ADJOURNMENT
It was unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 8:18 a.m.

        The next meeting will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. at the Holden Senior Center.
